Rotary Park Livonia Michigan. Rotary park is located on Six Mile Rd and Hubbard Rd  between Farmington and Merriman. 
                                                                                 

Livonia MI is ranked second in Michigan in terms of the amount of land set aside for public use and ranks among the top 25 nationally. On one of the sites I read that Rotary Park in Livonia was 12 acres in size, but I can't verify that anywhere else.  It is a good sized park with a small fringe of Woods on three sides.  In the fall Rotary Park hosts the campers for the 3 day cancer walk.

  large spaces to spread out 
• 2 volley ball courts
   plenty of parking
• a half mile asphalt paved walking bath
• tennis courts
• 5 pavillons (available for rent)  (apply early to reserve your date)
• baseball diamond
• play structures
• pic-nik tables

The signs are there so be warned.  Rotary Park in Livonia is dog friendly.  Dogs are supposed to be leased and owner's are required by law to pick up their dog's droppings. 

 

There is a good police presence in the park.  There are hours for the park so it is not an after hours hang out for the kids.
