I hope this helps you on seeing what type of homes and community Northville Twp is.   When searching Southeastern Michigan cities it is always good to know what types of Michigan homes for sale there are.  Which types of homes are common for the area and which ones are not.  If you are relocating to Michigan you may not know the area and may wonder if the area is nice or not.

   Northville Township, Mi has many varieties of homes.  From small bungalows (900 square ft) to mega mansions in the million dollar + range.  Those are the extremes.  There are very few small bungalows in Northville Twp.  Most of the homes are in subdivisions though there are a few areas of mixed homes on a street.   The main two styles of homes are Brick ranches and brick colonials.

 Ranch style houses are common in the Township of Northville, built in the 1960's, 1970's, and 1980's.  There are some later built ranches but not many as Northville land prices and Northville Twp lot prices escalated in 1990 and later.  Land prices made it hard for builders to build a reasonably priced ranch.  Ranches range from 1200 square ft to 3000 square ft.

Colonials are more common in Northville Twp, Michigan.

Brick Colonials are very common in Northville Township.  They range in size from 1800 square feet to 4000 square feet.  Many colonial homes have been built in the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, 2000s.  They keep building subdivisions and keep building nicer homes with all the latest features.  Depending on  your price range you can find a nice brick colonial.  The price range of many colonials go from $200,000 to a Million dollars.  With lots of home choices in all the price ranges.

Remember the City of Northville and Northville Township are two different governments and areas.  Though many people think of Northville and Northville Twp as one and the same.  The city of Northville, MI will have many Victorian homes to chose from also.
