Well Michigan is still number one in the nation for the unemployment rate. How does that affect our Wayne and Oakland County real estate market? It hurts the market.
With such high employment in the area it takes probably 10% of the buyers of the market. Unemployed people have moved back in with family. More people living in the same house. Unemployed people are not buying houses.
Less demand will slow sales. So the key to helping all of Detroit is getting people back employed. Just my thoughts
